An arbitrage opportunity exists between foreign and local markets; where cryptocurrencies in SA sell at a premium compared to the rest of the world. (USA or Europe for example). This is due to South Africa being one of a few countries in the world, which has foreign exchange controls; where the Government limits the offshore flow of money.
